Why Join the Board?

If you are looking to gain more industry knowledge, connections, and opportunities, then joining the ILEA Board is for you!  Volunteering for the ILEA Board is an incredible way to make new industry friends and connections, have opportunities to travel to international conferences (like ILEA Live & TSE), gain CEU's for industry designations (like CMP and CESP) and be a part of creating meaningful (and fun!) monthly events for Edmonton industry professionals to enjoy and be inspired from. Nominate now to continue making the Special Events Industry in Edmonton amazing!  
 
A few things to note:

• Deadline to submit a nomination (for yourself or another member) is April 13th, 2019.
• Vice President positions are available and are a ONE-year commitment. 
• Director at Large positions are available and are a TWO-year commitment.
• The ILEA Board meets once a month (these meetings are mandatory). 
• ILEA Board members receive discounted pricing to attend monthly events.

On a personal note, I was on the ILEA Edmonton Board for seven years and am so grateful for the connections and friendships I made during that time as well as the business opportunities I was exposed to and the industry knowledge I gained through participating in monthly events. My company was able to grow and succeed because of ILEA and the time I gave at the Board level. #MyILEA
